Sure seems though that it is now an issue as opposed to it being by design. MSN is not IMAP - its either POP3 or the outlook connector and both support notifications. Your work around yes although it does create duplicates is a great one, although my IMAP creates duplicates and triplicates of everything anyway for some reason but it acts like one I have that happen here once in while.
