New Mail Notification Not Working In Outlook 2010


I was just playing with that. Update: This hotfix is also included in Service Pack 1 for Office 2010 which is offered automatically via Microsoft Update when you have it configured to also check for Office updates. I they removed this tray unread mail icon on purpose, then I can't imagine why. Thanks...That puts an envelope icon in the notification area (via a rule) when mail arrives, but then you have to double click on the icon to clear it--not exactly the ideal But, if the email is going to a folder, let's say, Facebook, (all my facebook messages go to that folder because I created a rule) It won't let me know.
