Microsoft as far as I am aware will not be releasing a hotfix to fix the issue with email alerts as it will be back to the performance issues again. Don't want to... I have no doubt it is possibly the design as opposed to the setup. I had created some rules to move mails to other specific folders and to display a deskotp alert on message arrival on these folders. This is Windows 7 and I forgot that the notifications are controlled different way.
Can I somehow get the old big alert and sound back when a new message arrives? If Outlook isn’t listed, you haven’t received a new message yet so Outlook isn’t registered yet as an app that receives notifications.
