Nokia's tips on getting satellite signal can be found here. I have downloaded compass touch from Nokia store. I thought with A-GPS the N95 would still need to locate itself via something like cell-based location, inorder to work out which of the sateliites it's closest to from the assistence

My maps hadn't been working yet, so I had to download the new ones. I 'm not sure if re-installation can help but the phone cannot offer uninstall or re-install.in fact, I did drop my phone twice, not sure if GPS got broken. I changed the qf file from voice_mode to map_mode & still no luck. i got garmin but i guess the maps r not tht good !
