If you are still unable to surf while directly connected, factory reset the Netgear router. i, too, did many to the things outlined by the original post without success. Comcast makes it sound like the world is going to come to and end if you either a. / unplug a voice modem instead of using the reset button and/or b. You should automatically be redirected to the Xfinity Activation screen. If still no go, then replace the router. i'm just struggling to understand why it's not working all of a sudden when it was fine with the old modem. If the SSID is still not broadcasting, the device will need to be replaced.Contact Business Customer Support at 1-800-391-3000 to have the device replaced.
